Morning: Visit Jakarta Cathedral, Istiqlal Mosque
Jakarta Cathedral
Jakarta Cathedral is a neo-gothic Catholic Cathedral located in central Jakarta, it was called Waterloo Square or Waterlooplein during the Dutch colonial period. It is just located in front of Istiqlal Mosque. So you can include these two places in same day when planning your Jakarta trip.
Istiqlal Mosque
It is the largest mosque in Jakarta and biggest in Southeast Asia. The mosque was built on purpose to amplify the nation’s philosophy of unity in diversity, whereby every religions able co-exist in harmony and peace.
Afternoon : Lunch in shopping mall
Senayan City
Monsieur Spoon – You should put this in your Jakarta trip food list. All foods here are superb, especially their pastry is very nice. Love the place and the food.
Shaburi & Kintan Buffet – This is all you can eat Japanese BBQ.

Evening/night: Visit Aloha Pasir Putih, Pantjoran PIK
Aloha Pasir Putih
Aloha Pasir Putih is a new tourist spot in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, 40 mins from central Jakarta. It was just opened in April 2023. The atmosphere here is nice. If you like to take photo, shouldn’t miss here as the place is very instagramable. Many restaurants & cafes there, so you can enjoy your food with the beautiful scenery.
Pantjoran PIK
A chinatown in PIK area, it takes 30 minutes from central Jakarta. Many variety of foods from snack, dessert, street food to fine dining, halal and non halal, all in one place. Definitely a nice place to hang out with friends and family.
